Minor url change?

Hey guys I changed the way I strip out and produce friedly urls

so now a little shorter and remove words and lower case than before...

the old urls still work in .htaccess etc but I am worried about dup content..

what is best way to handle this situation?

Remove the dupes?
Add 301s where needed.
Update your site map.

Minor URI Change?

There is nothing minor about a URI change.

cool I was thinking leaving sitemap low for a while to only pick up new urls..old urls work just fine

will sitemap make those exchange out? Thanks.
