can any1 pls guide me on this query...
i have a <product oriented> website. After doing SEO on it for the past 6months i have noticed a thing in it....
Its ranking good on SE but from past 6 months its traffic rate has drop down to 20% say....
im bit confused that if my website is doing good on SE why am i not getting more traffic to it..
i have worked upon the redesign of website, also on regular basis SEO updation is done...
Pls guide me what culd be the possible reasons..

it's possible that your old-style site was getting traffic from heavy-traffic search terms, but now you've optimised them out - and got it focused on less popular search terms.
have a look in your logs and see if your search terms have changed, and then check them on something like wordtracker to compare how popular they are.

My search terms r doing good then before...for the present search terms im on the top pages of SE..
For earlier search terms i was not getting any rankings..
My stats to show that my website is on top levels for search terms im using now.
Pls tel beyond search terms what culd b the possible reasos for downfall in traffic.
