I have a site that offers a range of activity holidays that either include hiking/walking or major on it.
This seemed like a great business idea in a traditional marketing sense (differentiation from competition) but is proving to be complex in terms of natural google page listings.
When one product page, the HTML page title is:
<title id="Title">Keyword Phrase</title>
However, the description tag doesn't reinforce the title but says:
<meta name="description" content='[Removed specifics]'>
Questions:
1. As I have a range of different product pages with their own relevant titles, can I have different descriptions to match each separate title, or do I risk confusing google?
2. If the answer to 1 above is YES, I should have matching titles, then how about each product having its own keywords as well?
I know that there are many that say that all this is probably irrelevant to my listing anyway, but from what i see, these tags do seem important to google.
Your comments are most welcome.
