I want to make a page for each geo location with basic pricing. can i take content from wikipedia with out killing the seo?

Hey pizarn, welcome to WebmasterWorld, if no one has said that already!

Basically, if you grab most of your content from wikipedia, the search engines have little reason to feature your site over the one that the content came from. They also have little reason to feature your site under the one where the content came from. They'd prefer to show entirely different results.

Unique content is a huge component of getting sites to rank well; especially sites that are new and don't have much authority established yet in the eyes of the SE's. ;-)
