Hi,

Just curious, has anyone tried how does it affect the rankings if you have the same phrase in your TITLE and H1 tags?

Well, if you have many hundreds of pages, it may become quite daunting to write separate original stuffed-with-the-right-keywords phrases for TITLE and H1.

It might be the phrase "stuffed-with-the-right-keywords" that put a few people off ;)

It's not a terrible thing to have the same text in a title and heading, although this won't be suitable for every case. I would recommend a read of the w3c tips on the use of these elements. This sentence just about sums it up:

"...the top level heading should assume a certain amount of context while the title should work in any context"

[w3.org...] (funny URL for that one!)
