When the robots crawl your page. Do they look for different locales?
Is it wise to have a setup where a user is getting sent to different pages depending on his or hers locale? Will they crawl all my sites or just the english version?
Thanks.

Hey dabbish, welcome to WebmasterWorld!

The SE's do make efforts to "place" your site geographically. Clues include domain extension, IP address, keywords, language and local dialects, and physical addresses.

This is intended to make search results better, especially for geo related search queries...though sometimes the SE's get it wrong. Sorting out country issues, and hosting locations can get a bit dicey.
