Hi there,

I look after a website for a well know uk and us brand. The brand is a market leader in its sector. A couple of months ago they moved their server and info structure to Amazon Hosting solution based in Ireland.

They have got a .com domain name and a co.uk domain name pointing at the .com.

Since the move the co.uk is getting almost no traffic and its pages seems to have disappeared from Google.co.uk where they still score ok on google.com.
MSN seems to have the same problems while Yahoo! is fine.

I am aware of the Geotargeting issues and I have been advised to :

1.Add meta http-equiv="content-language" content="en-GB "
2.avoid American colloquialisms it's colour not color etc
3.Use a UK address as a means of contact, in the about us or contact us page, including a physical postal address with longitudinal and latitude coordinates
4.build back links with UK sites and try to include UK in connection with your keywords in anchor text.

Could you please share we me more tips?

Thanks Frank

Let's be clear. What do you mean by that, exactly?
