We sell air compressor parts, www.mastertoolrepair.com. We do a pretty good job of doing this. We would like to offer new units for those people that do not want to repair their own unit after researching how much it will cost to repair theirs. I would like some opinions on whether we should link the repair pages to another site that has just new units or should we just keep adding categories on our current site. The name, www.mastertoolrepair.com does have the word "repair" in it. If I could have a name like "masteraircompressors" or something like that would this be better or should we try to push our brand name www.mastertoolrepair.com?

You can't post URLs to sites, so expect that to get edited out by moderators. But with respect to your question, I personally prefer to add on to a site as opposed to create a new site. That way the new page you add can absorb some pagerank spread out from other pages on the site, and it will benefit from all the inbound links that the site already has. A little deep linking, and you'd be in good shape.
