Please can anyone recommend a decent e-shot marketing/email blasting provider in the UK?
I'll start off with...
1. Look for a Trusted Email Provider.
That's going to be first and foremost. Without the Trust, there is a good chance that a certain percentage of your emails may never make it to the recipients if that Trust isn't present.
If this is a commercial email that you are sending, refer to the CAN-SPAM Act for more information on what is required of you before sending.
Email marketing is so out of date bro! try to focus on other marketing alternatives!
Actually it is not. It works very well when your list is clean and targeted. If you are doing Bulk Email to non optin recipients, you may end up in jail if in the U.S. ;)
I was going to post a separate topic about email campaign successes just recently and held off. I guess now would be a good time to see how everyone is doing with their email campaigns.
Case Study
Client needed to build a list of subscribers from all of their data sources over the past 25+ years. It took us a few months, but the end result was a list that others would die for. ;)
We took that list and divided it into various categories based on the status of the user.
From those lists, we set up targeted email campaigns. We've just sent campaign one last week. The results have been "above" satisfactory, a decent return on something that had very minimal cost. We were able to sell a product and sold more in this one campaign that have ever been sold to date. Of course pricing was a bit lower and new technologies are in place, so there was a bit more incentive to purchase.
Either way, email marketing is alive and well. Email marketing to non optin subscribers is well, kind of against the law here in the U.S. and could get you in legal trouble.
Look for a provider that has a good solid history of providing services and products. Check their client list. Call a couple of them for references if you need to. The very last thing you want to happen is damage your brand by not adhering to the strict guidelines for email marketing.
