My se referrals are the following per month:
100k google
3k yahoo
2.8k aol
.78k msn

What can I do to close this gap? Or is this common?

  • Which country are you based in / does your site target? (US, Europe, UK, France ...)
  • Are your ranking the same across the engines? (are you no1 for you main keyword on G and not in the top 100 on all the other engines)
  • Which market / audience do you target? (techie, businesses, sstudents, women ...)

I have as good, if not slightly better, rankings for my sites across all the engines.

On average Google accounts for 95% to 98% of all my search traffic.
On one site I get more traffic from Netscape than I do from Yahoo, MSN, Ask and all the others put together.

In my areas there are no search engines there is Google, people don't search they "Google" things.
