I recently revamped my site and have now disappeared from google for my keywords...how long does google leave you in the sandbox. Also does adding to your home page on a regular basis cause sandbox issues?

There's a lot of arguing about the very existance of a sandbox.
My humble opinion/experience: Young sites get neglected by Google for several months up to a year. I don't know about re-vamped ones.
