too much relevant pages

Hi,

Allthough my website has more then 100.000 pages (price-compare site), google shows only 3200 indexed pages.

But when I typ "sitename.domain" in Google, it shows all my pages!

Google sais I have too much relevant pages...

What can I do about that? I guess I'll have to make my pages less relevant...but how?

Hi, is each and every page optimized for that Page Title/Keyword using say an HTML code?

yes, every page is optimized with own title tag, h1 tag...

In that case I would say too much duplicate content. Double up on some subject matters, delete pages as you go along -double up on keyword selection without over duplication - ie keyword twice in tags - use Directory submissions - Search 'Pheedster'with the correct keywords in site description. PM me with the site if you wish and I'll take a look see. You can search my user name as well - only SEO links should show up.

Mikey - It sounds like you might have a dynamic site and too many page variants are very similar and therefore may be treated as dupe content. Hard to tell without further exploration, but I think that's what they mean.

The underlying principal applies even if you're not form driven. Again, this may or may not be your problem.
