Moving a site with shared links away from shared IP address

Too little too late?

I have a web design site which has recently dropped from PR5 to PR4. A lot of the links to my site are from other sites on the same server (my client sites).
After reading through WW, i have learned that links within a shared IP address are, other things equal, not considered as 'strong' as a link from a different IP address.
My question is, if I move my main site to another server, can I expect to see a benefit from this? Or is it too late to do anything about it at this stage?
Please let me know what you think guys.

Thanks,

D

there is confusion here, i believe it is nothing to do with ip's as such but rather networks.

if links come from a 'friendly' network then they count for less, doesn't matter about the ip's.

of course sites sitting on the same ip address are easily recognised as being part of the same network - however even when they are not they are easily recognised.

Thanks for your reply - so there is probably not much point in moving - because even if I do move to a separate IP address, having links from 20 sites all on the same server will still be seen as 'networked' links
