Are you doing this query in Google? If yes, that is the issue - Google does not display all the links data from its database. Trying in Yahoo site explorer and MSN will give you a far better and accurate results. Good Luck!

Rocknroll is correct. Yahoo and MSN tend to give a better indication to the number of sites linking back to you. Google is well documented as suggesting it doesn't show every link - it simply shows a sample.

However, related forum threads have suggested this doesn't mean it isn't counting ALL links. Its just not displaying them all to you.

Its worth keeping a watch out for Google updates. When these happen they can change many user facing figures such as PR rank and links to your site.

I've witnessed these updates on a number of occasions where both our PR and links listed by Google have increased, yet our position in Google remained relativaly similar - suggesting that it had already been taking these figures into account just not showing us.

Google probably does recognise more than 2 sites linking to your site.
