2. Try to stay away from Information Overload or "Analyses Paralyses"
3. Put your keywords in the Title of your webpage. Then get websites that are linking to your competitors to link to you. (pay them, buy their office pizza, it doesn't matter, just get a link).

Something to keep in mind.

When you gather your links/partners, do not link to just anybody. It is a good idea to first analyze your potential link partner. Visit their site and see how they are promoting their own site. If all looks well, then link to them. But make sure they are not spamming on their pages or using bad black hat seo methods. Why Because if you link to them and they do these types of things, it will reflect back to your own site and give your own site some of the poor pr because of your linking to them. So analyze your potential link partner first.
