Link Weighting Relative to Content

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has any general rules of thumbs for a link to text ratio ratio within a web page. We hear that pages should contain between 200-800 words. How many links on a page would make it ideal or perhaps overweight relative to the amount of content? Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks!

I wouldn't waste time trying to figure out a text to link ratio.
There are way to many variables for an educated answer. Your best bet is to put up a page and see the response to it.
