Your best bet is to put on your reading glasses and start reading. :)

All the information is easily found; you'll learn much more by looking for yourself, than having people do the work for you.

THEN if anything is not clear, start asking questions.

Is it necessary to submit to Dmoz..people feel nowadays its not so important.Moreso previously google use to give a little bit of importance to site getting listed in Dmoz is it the matter now also?

Why not submit to dmoz? Depending on your category, it's a potentially excellent link. Google still uses it to see its own directory, so it can't be all bad, can it?

I think that trying to list Dmoz is a waste of time because as many times as you submit your website will never get listed on Dmoz. Then again it just might be me and other may not have that problem.
