nofollow for internal link

I found a topic about this where many ones mentioned that using rel="nofollow" would be a seo to google and may not work. but when I was reading the google blog I found this:

The best places to add this attribute are the actual links that other people can create. So on this page, for instance, only the links within comments and the link immediately after "Posted by:" would get the rel="nofollow" attribute.

so the nofollow atr will work for internal link and will increase other page's page rank!

I do not believe in using nofollow for anything ... let the search engines sort out for themselves what links they trust and what links they do not trust. If you must use them, use them for user generated links that are prone to spam, where you are unable or unwilling to moderate the comments yourself.

Trying to use nofollow to control the flow of links to your own advantage for SEO reasons is to use them as a spam technique, and I imagine that in the event of a hand check, such a practice would be frowned upon.

nofollow has clear and specific uses; it also has problems if there are other links.

There are often better ways to block spiders (eg robots.txt), but it all depends WHY you want to block spiders.

I think the best way is to not use nofllow at all
