RSS headlines into pull-down menu or mouseover?

Is it possible?

On my page, I'd like my visitor to be able to select RSS headlines/articles from a pull-down menu or mouseover?

Is it possible? To route the RSS feeds into a pull-down menu or mouseover?

How would I go about that?

You could add links to the feeds in a normal pull-down menu.

No, I want to be able to mouseover a heading like "Top Stories" and have the RSS-fed top story headlines come up (in a "bubble" or "cloud") and then be able to move down and select one of them and be directed to that story.

Make sense? Possible?

That wouldn't necessarily be a function of an RSS feed. What you're talking about would involve a script of some sort that might interact with some data to lead a visitor to a page containing the desired content.

An RSS feed normally contains content that a visitor could access via their own aggregator/feed reader. It sounds like you'd be better off using a database to present your content on your site. That database could output an RSS feed as well.

Right, Bill. I figured it would be some sort of script that could receive and display the RSS feed in this manner AND allow the articles to be chosen from the pop-up preview.

Anyone know what sort of script would do the job?

It appears you're approaching this whole thing backwards. Your content data in a database could do this in a fairly straightforward manner. Why involve RSS? To me it sounds like you're using the wrong tool for the job. Maybe I'm not clear on what you're trying to do.
