I was trying to describe to a friend what I want to do and they suggested I join here and get some advice.
I want to start up a news site and feed various news sources in. However, I don't want the news link to link back to their site, I want it to seem like it is part of my site.
Is this possible and what would I need?
If you license full feeds from the big news agencies, like Reuters [about.reuters.com] or the Associated Press [apdigitalnews.com] then they will provide you the data that will not require a link back to the original content. Be aware that those sorts of feeds are very expensive.
Without full feeds you would have to link back to the original content.
Yeah it won't be big news agencies, but like some sites that feature news.
What I am looking to do is create a sports news site and feed in a few feeds from various sites (non big sites). Basically sort of like fan sites.
