Is it possible that RSS file show the website its on as a backlink?

I apologize in advance if the question that will follow looks stupid or wrongly constructed.

I was wondering if its possible that RSS file could show the website's url where its sitting on as a backlink?

Theoretically it is possible, right?

Yes, that's possible. However a lot of syndication setups use JavaScript to place your feeds on people's sites and those don't always get spidered.

Thank you bill. I thought so too but could not be sure that such thing was possible.
