Is using pinterest for travelling blog to increase the traffic is a good idea or not.

It depends upon how much time you can spend marketing through pinterest and whether that time would be better spent on creating great content. It is incredibly time-consuming to pin 25 to 30 pins daily which is the recommended amount. Many brands have major marketing budgets for Pinterest both to increase brand-awareness and to drive traffic. I see PInterest as better for the former than the latter.

Hi Michael! It depends the content of image. If that image is attractive then you will be generate more traffic to pinterest.

Sure it is. Pinterest will not give you a traffic boost but it will for sure help you in the long run. Slowly and gradually you will se traffic coming in your analytics and for sure give you good traffic as time goes by.

I've read that it is an option, but you have to put some effort into that and create the content in that super instagramable way in order to get some attention, though I haven't tried it myself.

Its a good idea. Many niche blogs use pinterest as their main source of traffic
