I am a web developer and i have been asked to create a website using google maps with search results like this:

[hotelsneargolfcourses.co.uk...]

Where do i start?

You can start with figuring out how to get at the latitudes and longitudes of the locations without modifying the code every time. previous discussion [webmasterworld.com].
