Verizon outbids AT&T for a big holder of 5G wireless spectrum
Verizon Communications snapped up wireless spectrum holder Straight Path in a $3.1 billion deal, trumping rival AT&T’s offer and potentially gaining an advantage in a race to build 5G networks.
My WiFi router handles 5G, my phone supports 5G. All I need is the network, however it looks like it will be at least another year before the 5G networks start to roll out.
