The article [cnet.com] says a researched claims that modern cameras are so good that you can actually capture a person's fingerprints from images. It doesn't sound like too big of an issue until you think about people using fingerprints for bio-metric security.

Is the technology too far behind (or already there) to do the same thing with a person's eyes to bypass a retina scan?
