Lenovo has made the decision to phase out the Motorola branding. The once great name is to be clipped to Moto, with low-end products to be re-branded to Lenovo's Vibe. Moto was one of the nicknames used for the Motorola brand from many years back.

Looking at a lot of markets in Asia, the Motorola brand made several well publicized exits (and a few returns) to several markets. The name doesn't have the same clout here that it may have in the West. I guess this change won't make as big an impact in areas where Lenovo is strongest.
