The U.S. government today issued a bulletin warning iPhone and iPad users about the recent "Masque Attack" vulnerability, a security flaw that first surfaced on Monday of this week, reports Reuters.

I didn't even know it was possible to install an app that wasn't from the App Store (except for developers – but I thought that option was pretty limited). I can't see this vulnerability getting much traction if people don't know how to do what it takes to make it happen.

Seems funny, on one hand the Feds are complaining about Apple going too far to secure their Iphones and now issuing a warning about their vulnerability.
