This is a bit of a long shot, but I need to find a solution for Android users who find our website in Ireland.

This is the scenario:

1. User goes to www.google.ie
2. Searches for brand name
3. Clicks on brandname.com
4. Gets redirected to the English version of the site and not the Irish version.

What should happen is that the Irish page is shown to users (via a 302 redirect). This happens on the web but seems to be different for mobile users.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I think that some of the mobile telcos use web proxies. It might be possible to redirect these proxy IP ranges to the Irish version based on IP.

Thanks jmcc. That seems logical. I will look into the proxies.
