Need help getting email on Omnia

Just got the Omnia from Verizon and trying to get my email from mail.com on it. The tech guy at Verizon said it would be easy to make this happen but I'm not having any luck.

The phone uses Windows Mobile 6.0 pro. Not sure what other info would help.

when you tap start>messages you may have an application called emailwiz. this is bundled with quite a lot of networks and allows you to set up your email.

What you will need to do is get the mail server details from your email provider. You will neeed to know the address for the pop server, the smtp server your email address and your username/password.

I am not sure if mail.com allow non webmail acess. You may need to dig around their site to see if they provide pop smtp access.

Thanks I found the pop3 for incoming, do I use Verizon's outgoing smtp?

I think you can, but you could also use the smtp servers from your provider, without using your network providers smtp servers.

Thanks Mack, mail.com wants users to upgrade to be able to access mail from phones, outlook, etc. There's that, thanks for the help.
