If this has already been covered then I do appologise. I have never been involved in trying to retrieve SMS messages via a website, but now I find myself having the need to do this.
I am developing a simple website that will be written in classic ASP, and it will be communicating to an SQL database.
All I need to be able to do is for people to be able to send a text that the application will be able to retrieve and add the details into the database, and thats it.
My problem is, I don't really know where to start to do the whole text receiving thing, and I am hoping that someone out there can point me in the right direction.

Some hosting companies offer SMS services. There are also services you can sign up to online. Did you try a search on G?

Thanks for your reply. I did look at some sites that offered these sort of services, but when I dug a bit deeper it wasn't quite what I wanted.
Some of them have certain limitations, others just don't offer what I need them to do.
I was hoping someone out there could say, you need to check out www.hereswhatyouwant.comuk. lol.
Slightly lazy of me I realise, and I do apologise, but why re-invent the wheel!
