According to today's Online Wall Street Journal:

Adobe Systems Inc. has begun work to create a media player destined for Apple Inc.'s iPhone, Chief Executive Shantanu Narayen said Tuesday, thus adding a new wrinkle to a standoff between the two long-term partners.

heh. flash is so underestimated in its potential and reach in the mobile arena.

as is Flash is the only real universal standard that is/will be available for a long time. android smchandroid... even if google phones take off Flash will just port on top as well.

watch for Adobe to be big in mobile arena in years to come ( in the same way they are everywhere online ... flash, pdf...etc)

I hope this is something that happens soooooon (3-6 months), while I don't do alot of mobile surfing yet (only due to the cost) I do want a mobile device that can play flash radio stations.

I've gone through the Dell Axim 51v - no flash support
Sony PSP (original and 2000 model) - extrememly limited flash support
Nokia E62 - no flash support

I would already have purchased either an iPod Touch or iPhone if Flash was supported.

Currently I'm waited for either the price to drop on the Nokia N810 (great flash support), or the latest IE Mobile edition set to support both Flash and Silverlight.
