How do I share a wireless hotspot connection?

I need to hook multiple laptops up to a hotels wireless internet connection. Of course I could cough up with payment per 24 hours per laptop, but it would be cool if there was a easy way around it.

What is the equipment involved to do this the easiest way?

If the laptops are using Windows, you could purchase access for one of them, setup ICS on it, then configure the other laptops to connect via ICS on the initial laptop.

Yes, the laptops are running on xp.
Wont your suggestion require a cable between the laptops and will it work if there are more than two laptops?

It doesn't require anything if the laptops have wireless capability. Just (included with Windows) software configuration time.

Search Google for XP ICS configuration.

Of course, Google wireless connection sharing - there are a million different ways to set it up.
