We've been getting overcharged per click for a couple of weeks now, max cpc set at .24 and getting charged .96 per click. contacted support 2 days ago, still being overcharged.
be sure to check your accounts.

Make sure your bids aren't also set at the keyword level. If you have a higher bid set at the keyword level it will override the ad group bid.

just checked to make sure, keyword level is set to the ad group bid, still being overcharged.
was having trouble changing the bid last week, kind of a pain in the butt, i kept updating the bid and then the next day they would be back to the old bid. it was 2 days of this before i realized that not only do you have to update the bids but you also have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click "save", seems a bit redundant to me.

Couple weeks, wow. I have noticed on a few occassions that up to 3 days after I lowered by max CPC I continued to get charged click prices that were higher than my new max CPC but eventually they went down. There is no excuse for two weeks or even 3 days. I'm pretty sure Google changes are effective within 6 minutes.
