So I imported all my ads in Yahoo to MSN adcenter, but when I did so, it created a duplicate of all my ads. For example, now I see:
Ad Group 1
Ad Group 1_CA
Ad Group 2
Ad Group 2_CA
I asked support what the "_CA" groups are, and they said those are to reach people in Canada who use Bing.ca. The normal ad groups will only reach people in Canada who use Bing.com.
So I asked them, "Once the merger is done and I want to create a new ad group, how do I create the duplicate ad group that reaches Bing.ca?" (I don't know how, as the system did it for me automatically when I imported my ads.)
They said I just have to make sure the language is set to English and the geo-targeting is set to Canada and it will reach people who use Bing.ca.
I said, "My first ad group already has the language and location set to English and Canada, so what is the point of the duplicate ad group?"
They said, "The duplicate ad group is to reach people who in Canada who use Bing.ca." But if that's true, then the implication is that the first ad group cannot reach people who use Bing.ca.
But they said the first ad group would reach people who use Bing.ca if the settings are set to English Canada.
So why do I need the duplicate ad group...?
And back and forth we go! lol
Does anyone else understand what I'm saying because adCenter support doesn't seem to get my question.
