"Additional feature upgrades will also occur on April 28, 2007. During this upgrade, adCenter will be unavailable for up to 24 hours starting at 12:00 P.M. Pacific Time"
The last time this happened was in February and an email went out 9 hours before a 15 hours downtime.
Why can't they give people a little more notice?!
Thanks for the feedback. I’m sorry you feel that 48+ hours notice is not enough time to prepare, but we have iterated on our processes, thanks to previous feedback from our customers, in order to give you as much notice as we can of upgrades or any scheduled maintenance.
Given the global nature and the scale of Microsoft adCenter, we have to be sure our dev team are ready to flick the switch and the upgrade will be ready to go ahead before we communicate to our customers of any change in their user experience.
Thanks for the feedback, keep it coming and we promise always try and give you as much notice as we possibly can.
In the meantime do let us know what you think of the great new features you'll find when you log back in next week and we can keep a dialogue going.
Do also keep an eye on the adCenter Blog too, which is where we post all our updates, best practices, tips & tricks.
Cheers
