Microsoft has released its new Microsoft Edge preview build for macOS in the Canary channel.

With this initial release, we have made several changes to the user interface to align with the Microsoft design language whilst making it feel natural on macOS. Examples of this include a number of tweaks to match macOS conventions for fonts, menus, keyboard shortcuts, title casing, and other areas.

I somehow find it hard to imagine Mac users ever becoming enthused by Microsoft Edge. I can see some Nerdy types road testing it solely for a "look-see".

Surely those “nerdy types” include all web designers everywhere? At least a quick check to see if there are any significant differences between Browser A and Browser B. And just when I thought I’d never again have to think about MSIE ...
