IE9: 5 Features and Drawbacks
Since launching the IE9 beta in September, Microsoft has added features based on user feedback, including ActiveX filtering and tracking protection.
I usually only test for 3 versions of IE, so I will soon happily say bye bye IE 6! Good riddance!

@koan me to.
I am not wild about IE 7 either. I just did a layout that works perfectly in every browser (FF, Opera, Konqueror, Chromium, etc.) I have tried, except IE 7. display:inline on an <li> is not working for no apparent reason. Wonderful.

I've been beta testing it for a while. I have never liked it since first install, and that dislike probably reduced my testing.
Having said that, i'll be installing the release to ensure I have the newest iteration for security and stability. Additionally, I'll be using it for site development.
Will I use it as my main desktop browser? Unlikely as my main desktop is XP-based. Will I use it on the Win7 desktop? Not sure just yet, but it's currently unlikely. Ask me again in about a year's time.

hahaha nice one alco!
I gave opera a shot for about 7 months now, its nice but its still quirky, i'll go back to IE when 9 comes out. I miss browsing the web in 64bit mode with no annoying flash ads bothering me.....its the only way go to.

I do like the performance in IE9, but I see from my CPU usage there's a even a lot more that can be achieved chrome has now been my browser of choice, but google will need to try and out perform iE for me to stick with chrome.
