Microsoft has just reported revenues of $24.5 billion, up 12% Year-on-Year for Q1, FY18.
It's net income for the quarter was $6.6 billion, up 16%.

Search ad revenue was up 15%, excluding traffic acquisition costs.

LinkedIn's revenue contribution to that quarter was $1.1 billion.

Relatively speaking, looking at the detail, things look rosy at Microsoft.
