I'm sorry, but this EU Commission must have better things to do. They've really got a thing for MS don't they? I guess my question is why does this commission think its duty is to add its voice on MS's adoption of a free, open, international standard? I'm sure that there are extenuating conditions involved that I'm not privy to, but this just sounds gratuitous.

I think MS needs to make sure that ANY software that goes to ANY place governed by the EU costs about 10 times more.

Umm, software of THEIR choice. Says it all. No one is forcing anyone to buy MS Office, MS Word, etc.
