Hi

I placed a widget in one of the sidebars of a test page and the widget takes up not only its allocated space but appears elsewhete on top of the sidebar displacing other divs.

I thought it might be the widget's script but if I place it in the other sidebar all's well.

I suspect it has to do with the way divs are transferred from the right sidebar to the left as the screen narrows, but why should it happen at full width.

I've lost nearly all my hairs and cannot see where the problem lies.

Mant thanks

To get help with your html and css, the charter: [webmasterworld.com...] requests that you show us the problem code. Please take a look there and you will also find tools to help you narrow down the issues and possibly find a resolution - or at least something that others can help you with.

Hi not2easy

the problem is the code is extense. That's why I gace the page to ahave a look at the code through "View source"...

I'll try but can only think of pasting both html and css, over 2000 lines...

Hi qimqim, if you visit the charter, you'll see that you are not expected to dump a page full of html or an entire css file here. Actually you are requested not to do that.
We respectfully request that you share "only" the part of the code that deals with your specific question so that others can help you with that issue without either exposing your site or inviting site reviews. No one is going to troubleshoot your site if you don't. How to get help is covered in the Charter, along with tools to help you isolate the problem.

If you need help that requires a visit to your site, you are welcome to join the Webmaster World Supporters' Forum.

There is a link in the upper right corner, where it says "Become a Pro Member" and there is a forum for Site Reviews.
