Hi,

I wish to integrate my new desktop responsive pages to my existing mobile website. I would have done it, if the directories were similar but the directories of my mobile and desktop websites are different.

What is the possible solution for this problem? How can I integrate my new responsive pages into my already existing mobile website.

Hi Womperson, welcome to the Forums. Are all the page titles the same and only the /directories/ different? If that is the case you should be able to find a solution in the Apache Forum here. If the entire URLs are different, that would be a lot more work.

We use example.com to avoid accidental links so if your site has URLs like example.com/site/widgets/blue.html and the mobile site has example.com/mobile/widgets/blue.html it is pretty easy to fix, but if the mobile site has URLs like example.com/mobile/widgets/blue/widgets/blue-mobile-widgets.html that isn't quite as simple. It all depends on how the URLs differ and what server you are hosted on to determine how to make the changes.

Hi not2easy, thank you for the help and suggestion !

My mobile page URLS are different from that of my desktop website. Can you suggest relevant blogs or links where I can explore more about this issue?

There is an Apache forum here to help you learn how to redirect and rewrite your URLs if your hosting is Apache: [webmasterworld.com...]
or if your host is Windows, there's a little different way to handle this that is discussed here: [webmasterworld.com...]
