Microsoft has switched the Windows Insider ring (fast or slow) model to a Channels model, it says, to better support parallel coding efforts. Fast Ring will become Dev Channel, and the slow ring will become the Beta Channel. Release Preview will become Release Preview Channel.

This will also be rolled out to Office, and eventually to Edge, and Teams.
Our goal is to not only make it clearer for existing Insiders to choose the experience that’s right for them, but also for new Insiders to pick the right channel as they join. The Insider community is very important to us all and we’re working to align how all our Insider programs work better together across Microsoft.

Insiders?

Try and get the Microsoft Engineers to listen to you, and your constructive complaints/suggestions.

I left that program many, many years ago as I didn't have the time to dedicate to it.

Hasn't that been the case for many years?
