End of sales

Windows 7 Home Basic, Home Premium, Ultimate End of sales for PCs with Windows preinstalled October 31, 2014
Windows 8 Retail software end of sales October 31, 2014

The story is that from the end of October there will be no more consumers sales of Windows 7 Home Basic, Home Premium or Ultimate, which was only available preinstalled in consumer PCs. There will also be no more sales of Windows 8 retail box copies. However, you can still get retail boxes of Windows 8.1.
