Installing Windows on P II

Install Windows 98 on a Pentium II Computer ,Make a Pentium II Boot From Cd

Hello

i am having a Toshiba Intel Pentium II And i am trying to install Windows 98 On it But i cant manage to install it...

i put the CD In the CD Rom ... it starts and shows the Toshiba Logo and then immediately it shows the Win 98 banner (as a french version is already installed)

i cannot access the bios to check for the settings to make it boot

i have tried all the F Buttons (F1,...F8,...F12)And the Del Key but it dos nothing .....

Dos anyone have any idea how may i access the Bios on this P II PC ?

The CD Rom works well as i got in the French version and looked on the CD

please excuse me if i posted this in the wrong section but i really dont know what to do with this PC :|

another alternative is to bork it by keeping your finger on the space bar to cause a keyboard fault on boot. This could bring up a message: (press F1 to continue, XYZ for bios)

Next step would be to boot from floppy drive.

If all else fails, you could attach the disk to another machine and wipe the MBR. Make a copy of your data first :)

Edit: I faintly remember Toshiba having a funky key combo to get to the BIOS. Try ALT-S

i have asked a friend and he said to do it By pressing Escape and Run PC(hears like what u said frank )
