I work alot from my home on my laptop and quite a bit of it is printing out change requests.
Right now I have to print items on my home printer, but I rarely get reimbursed for my ink and it's expensive.
I need a way (without storing pdf's on my hard drive) to do a file/print and when I get to the office and dock my laptop have them print out on the network printer.
If I do pdf's I'm likely to forget to print them
This should be possible in other ways via VPN. I'm not experienced using any other alternatives though.
Adobe or cutepdfwriter allow you to print pages to an adobe PDF format.
You can create a folder on your machine called something like JunkIHaveToPrint.
When you need to print something, print it using a pdf writer, then save it to that folder. When you get into work, you might be able to right-click on the items and print them out. (Or just open them and print the pdf. )
