Microsoft is due to issue a patch to fix a security flaw believed to have affected as many as 10,000 websites. The emergency patch should be available from 1800 GMT on 17 December, Microsoft has said.
Example:
This advance notification provides the software subject as the bulletin identifier, because the official Microsoft Security Bulletin numbers are not issued until release. The bulletin summary that replaces this advance notification will have the proper Microsoft Security Bulletin numbers (in the MSyy-#*$! format) as the bulletin identifier.
No idea why I need to know this, no idea what they are trying to tell me, no idea if I should even care.
Obviously written by a committee of lawyers.

Firefox just updated itself to version 3.0.5
None of my server installations required a reboot, but all XP and Vista machines have.
