Check antivirus, check firewall, check memory, disc space, try defregmenting. Check for crapware, malware, everything ware, uninstall and reinstall. Think carefully about anything you may have done since installation.

If all else fails, think about the serious stuff; have you got a pukka Windows setup? Have you updated it lately?
