Location and Access to the php.ini file on a Windows Server

Excuse my ignorance; I have never worked with the whole ISS/ASP/C# area.

I just wondered how to find the php.ini file. phpInfo() gave the following location:

C:\Windows\System32\PHP\php.ini

This bears no relation to what files/folders I can see when I FTP in. This is a shared server so I don't think I can ssh in;

I have inherited a website that is built in Joomla (php) with a booking system backend built in ASP/C# and the site is hosted on IIS. #*$! did I do to deserve this? I want to replace the whole backend but it seems like overkill. At the same time I am probably not going to be able to get away with learning IIS, ASP, c sharp etcetera on the company time and I ain't getting paid enough to do it in my spare time. Wouldn't mind learning it all the same but I am starting at page 1. aaarrrrghh

C:\Windows\System32\PHP\php.ini

On a shared server you'll never be given access to the Windows\System32\ folder. If you need a copy to create your own website specific php.ini file you can best contact the hosting company and ask them to do this for you.
