I prefer Camtasia for Mac over Quicktime for video screen captures. (You did know, of course, that with Snow Leopard Quicktime let's you do that, right?) I do not like to use a lot of special effects, but with a light touch it can make you appear more professional.

Anyway, Camtasia responds to Quicktime's in a great way. Today they announced they've dropped the price to $99 and they've added some very useful features. I will especially appreciate "pause & resume" and "voice-only recording."
