Heh heh. Done that many times myself. There is a universal keyboard command that turns that on and off.

Try command-F5

It's also in the System Preferences under Universal Access. It's called VoiceOver

I make that mistake frequently when I mean to do Control-F5, which is refresh in Internet Explorer. Even though you're in Parallels, Command-F5 still turns the VoiceOver on!

You can remove keyboard shortcuts:

system preferences / Keyboard & Mouse / Keyboard Shortcuts,

Voiceover on/off is in the section "Universal Access", just uncheck it ...
